I will definitely be taking BC pics. This “pass” looks ripe for backcountry riding… it is steep of course, but there are some more mellow areas. This will be a place that you need to arrive for sun up… otherwise it will probably be tracked out.

Don’t forget to take some pics and post them when you start to hike above the tree line in the backcountry. It sounds like you are more and more happy with your decision to make the move everyday you are out there. They started to blow snow here in the east but no dumps yet. I’m still jealous.
